The MCCP has a commitment to support investigators who are engaged in cancer control and prevention research. These investigators are considered Associate Faculty Researchers. Investigators eligible for this designation are faculty members or post-doctoral students who have participated in the development of research concepts or proposals on cancer control and prevention within the past 12 months. More than 30 Associate Faculty Researchers representing six colleges, more than 13 departments, and two affiliated universities are currently Markey Cancer Control Associate Faculty Researchers. To assist all investigators in their research activities, MCCP provides use of its researcher database and the Kentucky Cancer Registry's incidence and mortality databases. In addition, Associate Faculty Researchers have access to the services of its Research Resource Team and the expertise of MCCP's core administrative team. Talk with us about your ideas and become involved in cancer control and prevention research. If you would like to know more, contact us.
